DESCRIPTION:                     

Serves as the primary designer for the college’s most impactful visual assets, including the writing and designing of college handbooks, viewbooks, catalogs, program brochures, magazine publications, direct mail pieces, advertisements and environmental graphics such as banners and signage. Applies advanced design skills and conceptual thinking to translate marketing goals into cohesive on-brand visuals. Applies knowledge of the techniques used in planning, composing, editing and producing publications. Maintains mastery of Adobe Creative Suite and other design tools to ensure professional-quality output that meets institutional standards and campaign objectives. Partners with internal departments to lead the creative execution of integrated marketing campaigns from concept to delivery. Participates in campaign planning meetings, storyboarding sessions and content development while overseeing the visual production timeline. Determines the most effective design and media mix for reaching intended audiences, provides input on budget allocation for advertising efforts and ensures campaign components are deployed across designated platforms including website landing pages, digital displays and social media. Oversees the design and production of physical marketing assets for events and public-facing installations. Manages creative development and vendor coordination for boulevard banners, vinyl signage, tablecloths, event materials and directional signage. Supports visual needs for ceremonies, recruiting events and community engagement efforts, ensuring all event branding aligns with institutional identity. Acts as a guardian of the college’s visual identity and brand integrity, providing guidance and oversight to ensure consistency in all institutional communications. Consults with departments to offer design direction, enforce visual standards and promote a cohesive brand experience across internal and external-facing materials. Contributes to the development and evolution of brand templates and design guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS:              

A bachelor’s degree and experience related to the development and dissemination of informational material.

SALARY:                               

$35,000 – $40,000.
