Ashley Nichole Mack graduated from Central Carolina Technical College in 2023 with a mission to make a difference in healthcare.
After having a baby in 2021, Mack became ill with congestive heart failure. She was inspired by the exceptional care she received from doctors and medical staff during her recovery and knew she wanted to pursue a career in healthcare to help others. Having attended CCTC in the past and having had a positive experience, she returned and once again found the support she needed to succeed.
Mack earned her Medical Assisting diploma and within weeks began her career as a certified medical assistant. She plans to further her education to become a registered nurse.
“Don’t give up. Always believe in yourself. You got this!” Mack said, encouraging future Titans to persevere and take advantage of the opportunities CCTC offers.
