Each year, the South Carolina Technical College System (SCTCS) conducts a Program Evaluation of all technical programs across the state. As part of this process, CCTC determines whether or not each of its graduates are “placed” either in a job related to their program(s) of study or enrolled at an institution of higher education. This section provides the percent of program graduates who were “placed” in a job or in school. The cohort used to determine the placement rate includes all students who received a credential within the July 1 to June 30 fiscal year. (For example: 2022-2023 represents the July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023 fiscal year).
